September has been a busy month, from going back to school to starting a new adventure with TKS. Well, let's get into it!
Beginning TKS
This month I embarked on a new journey with The Knowledge Society (TKS). For those of you who are not familiar with this program, let me fill you in. TKS is a 10-month long human accelerator designed to train teenagers to solve the world's biggest problems through training in emerging technologies and mindsets. As a part of their Innovate program, every Saturday I attend a session downtown which never fails to be the highlight of my weekends. 🌟
A few of my 🔑 takeaways thus far:
“Mitigating risk is not the same as optimizing for success” ⮕ I’m a very cautious person so this quote just hits different 👌. When you're stuck just decreasing your chances of risk and failure, that's exactly what is holding you back from succeeding.
You develop passions, rather than just miraculously finding them one day.
Don't wait around or hesitate to do something meaningful in your life, start now. Don't let fear overtake your possibility to succeed.
One line said by my director that really stuck with me: "You are the smartest you've ever been, and the dumbest you'll ever be." Hearing this made me go woahhh 🤯

Cryptocurrencies 💰
Ever heard of Bitcoin, Litecoin or Ethereum❓ Well, all three of these are all types of cryptocurrencies. In simple terms, a cryptocurrency is a form of digital token that exists on blockchain, which is a distributed and decentralized ledger. Cryptocurrency serves as a digital payment system that doesn't have to depend on banks or financial institutions in order to verify transactions, people can send and receive transactions no matter where they are.
Artificial Intelligence 🤖
A technology that has been a buzzword for years now, but what is it❓ In short, Artificial Intelligence is all about making machines smart, while also utilizing algorithms to solve problems. This technology currently powers so many things in our daily lives, such as Siri, virtual assistants, search engines and the list goes on. The most fascinating part about AI is the disruption it has and will continue to cause in a variety of industries, from healthcare to retail and e-commerce all the way to banking.
ThinkGenZ: Collaborating with a new client
This past summer and month, my generational consulting company onboarded a new client, WePrep.It. Founded by two past Ivey lecturers, WePrep.It is designed to help students elevate their academic performance. I have developed their social media strategy, while also creating content. It has been truly exhilarating helping grow WePrep.It’s sales through the conversion of online traffic!
